Paul Preston (Liverpool, UK, 1946), historian, author of several books on contemporary history of Spain, has a doctorate in history from Oxford University and professor of contemporary Spanish history and director of the Center for the Study Cañada Blanch of Spain contemporary at the London School of Economics (University of London). He was also professor of history at the University of Reading and the Centre for Mediterranean Studies at Queen Mary College (University of London).
