Flying Scotsman steam locomotive "running round" at Grosmont station on the North Yorkshire Moors Heritage Railway (NYMR)
LNER Class A3 60103 Flying Scotsman locomotive was originally built in Doncasetr works in 1923 as an A1 Class. It actually shares its name with the train which ran from London to Edinburgh. Over the years it has has seen a number of adaptations, several changes of number and several different colour schemes. It is pictured here during a week of running on the North York Moors Heritage Railway in March 2016.
