Air Force Tech. Sgt. Carissa Perry is a member of the 145th Communications Flight. Perry joined the military in 1998 as an active duty member, transitioned into the Ohio Air National Guard in 2003 and lastly transferred to the North Carolina Air National Guard in 2012.  The Air Force has given her a sense pride, belonging and having a second family.  Perry is an avid runner and has participated in several marathons to include the Air Force Marathon. She plans to run in the 2018 Air Force Marathon to commemorate her 20th year in service.
