Licorice Fern, Many-Footed Fern, Sweet Root
Botanical name: Polypodium glycyrrhiza The Licorice Fern, Many-footed Fern, or Sweet root is a fern of the Polypodiaceae family known for its licorice-flavored rhizome. The fronds, which are triangular in shape with pointed leaflets, typically grow to be at least 30cm in length, but may grow to be over 60cm in length. This herb also symbolizes love, lust and fidelity.
