Reportage in the Pain Evaluation and Treatment service in Cimiez Hospital, Nice, France. The patient suffers from multiple sclerosis causing refractory neuropathic pain, requiring intrathecal pain killer treatment. He has an abdominal intrathecal pump. The pump is refilled with a 40ml dose of Ziconotide (Prialt) every fortnight. Synchromed II – Medtronic implantable pumps. On the left, the 40ml pump and on the left, the 20ml one.
