The church of San Andrés de Salardú is of transitional Romanesque style from the 12th and 13th centuries, located in the upper part of the municipality of Alto Arán in the Catalan region of Valle de Arán. It houses the carving of the Christ of Salardú, one of the most representative works of Aranese Romanesque. Wikipedia Salardú is located to the right of the Garona river, which together with the Unhola river surround this town just before they meet. It is located on the main road and few tourists know that the road that goes to the Aigüestortes and Colomers National Park offers memorable views of the town, a panorama that glimpses both Salardú and Unha in the background.
