Quota 383 or quota Generale Montanari, or Hill of Death,near Plava. Quota 383 was the scene of fierce fighting between the Italian army and the Austro-Hungarian army. The Italian soldiers never managed to conquer an altitude of 383 and in the day of June 17, 1915 suffered 8000 losses. Rock inscription commemorating Italian soldiers who died from an enemy grenade explosion.
