If the latter intrude themselves upon thefloor during the progresr ot the game, or interfere with theplay in any manner, the visiting team may appeal to thereferee to order the floor cleared, and if this is not donewithin five minutes the visiting team can claim and shallbe awarded the game by a score of 2 points to 0. Sec. 2. All inquiries relating to these rules may be sentto the Secretary of the Protective Basketball and AthleticAssociation. Appeals must be filed in writing withintwenty-four hours. This Association shall be called the Protective Basket-ball and Athletic Association of the Eastern States. ARTICLE The objects of this Association are: to perpetuate bas-ketball as the National midwinter sport, and to surround itwith such safeguards as to warrant absolute public confi-dence in its integrity and methods by establishing a uni-form code of rules, and by offering protection to its mem-bers and the bodies affiliated with the Assoeiation; andto provide athletic competition for its members. ARTICLE Section 1. The membership of this organization shallbe limited to athletic clubs and clubs playing basketball. Sec. 2. The Association, through its Board of Gover-nors, subject to the approval of the Association, shall bethe sole judge of the qualifications of applicants for mem-bership
