View from road bridge to the Quarry Hospital. A series of stepped working faces (ponciau, galleries) rising above a 50ft deep flooded sinc with overhead cables, hopper etc. still in place. The pool is now used for diving training. Guided trails run from the National Slate Museum, around the Vivian Quarry (named after Dinorwic Quarry Company Manager in late 1800s) and up through the Coed Dinorwig oak woods, mainly inside the Padarn Country Park and Nature Reserve SSSI. The Vivian Quarry is now a centre for rock climbing and scuba diving 'Vivian Dive Centre' The diving experience has good visibility with little silt, with depths ranging from 6 metres (20 ft) to 18 metres (59 ft), a platform at 6 metres (20 ft), plus flooded buildings, boats, a van and a gnome garden. Used as a location in the 2017 film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, directed by Guy Ritchie,
