This company pro-duces crushed stone for concrete and sand for the same purpose andfor general building operations. The stone quarry is southwest ofSpring Valley station on the west side of the track. The crushing plantis on the east side of the railroad at the same point. The rock is a finegrained felsite which forms a hill immediately north of Lemon Grove,rising some 300 feet above the mesa level. The production of crushedstone is 75,000 tons per year.
