The Fengdu Ghost City ( Chinese: pinyin: Fēngdū Gu Chéng) is a tourist attraction in Fengdu County, Chongqing municipality, China. It is situated about 170 kilometres (110 mi) downstream from Chongqing on the north bank of the Yangtze River. The city has numerous buildings, structures, dioramas, and statues related to Diyu, the concept of the underworld and hell (or Naraka) in Chinese mythology and Buddhism. It is modelled to resemble Youdu, the capital of Diyu.
