Tsarina Elizabeth Petrovna (1709 - 1762), a chiselled and gilt flintlock rifle Tula, dated 1741. Smooth barrel in 16 mm calibre, swamped at the muzzle, with a slight ridge on top of the barrel. Gold-filled vent hole. Openwork brass front sight, the gilt ramp rear sight engraved in the shape of the sun. At the breech against a gold foil background a cut portrait bust and fine tendril decoration. The midrib with cut inscription "TULA 1741" over a matted gold foil.
