Mado Robin sculpture, Yzeures-sur-Creuse, Indre-et-Loire, France.
Madeleine Marie Robin, known as Mado Robin (b. Dec 29, 1918 — d. Dec 10, 1960), was a French Coloratura Soprano who had an exceptionally wide vocal range - reaching D above double-high C. A museum to her life opened in Yzeures-sur-Creuse (her birthplace) in 2009 and the sculpture to her, which had previously been in the town square, was relocated to outside the new museum.
