PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 12, 2016) Seaman Dylan Cox, from Houston, signals to the pilot of an F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the Vigilantes of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 151, that the jet's lock bar has been removed on USS John C. Stennis' (CVN 74) flight deck. Removing the lock bar allows the pilot to taxi away from the catapult. John C. Stennis is underway to conduct routine training in the 3rd Fleet area of responsibility.
