US Air Force MASTER Seargent Charles Kaminski, Non Destructive Inspection (NDI) Craftsman Technician, 31st Maintenance Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy, perform a magnetic chip detection on the days first F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft engine oil sample. This procedure is used to detect early signs of improper engine wear, allowing preventive maintenance procedures to be implemented.
