As we drive the impression we have is of an area much poorer than Jimma as was confirmed in our conversation yesterday with Dessalegn Most homes are traditional round houses with low split timber walls no more than 4 feet high no windows small doorways and thatched roofs A typical home would measure about 12 feet diameter only The people are small too
