Thiswas No. 17 in the Duke of Fife sale and was Included among theportraits by unknown artists. It is a very fine jjortrait of abeautiful woman, more in the style of a French artist than Knellerand probably represents some other Queen Sojjhia than the wifeof George I, to whose other known portraits it bears no resem-blance.
