Serveau and C. H. Baker. The matter of chrysanthemum show was laid over until the next meeting. Six new members were elected. Since the first rain two weeks ago stock seems to be not so plentiful. A ^ood many fall weddings are taking place, which help considerably to shorten the stock of roses and pinks and keep up prices, which are as high as could be expected at this time of the year. Another help in this trade is that the general strike has been declared off and the city has resumed the same busy condition as before.
