Abingdon, England - 17 August 2019 No, you couldn't make this one up. But it happened. One of my favourite daily exercise walks is down the Thames riverbank from St Helens Wharf - a lovely beauty spot - to the posh Abingdon Marina. There are plenty of characterful (and expensive!) houses along this scenic path. I always have an eye out for the house that puts out dog biscuits and water for the many dogs using this pathway. But this is new- a converted dog house and shrine for the ducks who tend to wander off the river and into domestic gardens. Needless to say, this boy is actually a Greylag Goose, but that does nothing to dampen this surreal and lunatic juxtaposition!
