Cleveland Division On August 9, when 4261s train was passingWarwick, west, section foreman Fritzingernoticed Baltimore and Ohio car 125225, en routeto Willard, with bad wheel. He immediatelycalled it to the conductors attention, who hacicar set off at Warwick, where new wheel wasapplied. He has been commended by thesuperintendent. Chicago Division On July 18, engine 1941 had cars derailed onsubway at Willard. One of the cars was partlypushed over the side of subway, and Minor. Minor MartinOn ChicagD^Division Honor Roll Martin, age sixteen, a bystander, .lOticed thedangerous condition and immediately notifiedterminal yardmaster and wreckmaster, there-by averting a possible more serious accident andinjury to travelers on the highway. Thismeritorious act on his part is certainly com-mendable and he has our appreciation. Ohio Division Conductor A. OLeary, on extra west, August20, discovered broken arch bar in car whichhad just been picked up at Mineral. He im-mediately had car set out, thus preventingpossibility of serious accident. For his promptaction, commendation has been placed on hisrecord. On August 23, brakeman T. E. Swaney,while at Hope, Ohio, discovered defect on carin extra wests train, as it was pulling by. Onstopping, car was set out, thereby avoiding pos-sibility of accident. Commendation has beenplaced^ on Mr. Swaneys record for interestdisplayed in saving Company property.
