Jaisalmer, India; Gadi Sagar Gate (Tilon Ki Pol), built in 1658. The Gadi Sagar tank (also known as Gadisagar or Gharisar), southeast of the city walls, was the oasis which led prince Jaisal to settle here. The tank is connected by a pipe to the Indira Gandhi channel and has water all year.
