The median carina prominent, usually high and deeply cut in front of the middle by a narrow notch. Tegmina considerably surpassing the ab- domen in both sexes, the intercalary vein less prominent than in the previous genus and nearer the median than the ulnar vein. Inner wings with the base yellow, bordered by a dark median band. Hind femora rather stout, nearly reaching (female) or surpassing (male) the end of the abdomen.
