Mr. D. K. Williamson, proprietor of Longfield PoultryFarm, Box 339, Bluffton, Ind., has line-bred his Rhode IslandReds until now they show a strong family resemblance. Breed-ing exhibition birds or animals along these lines is a work thatdeserves great honor. It is producing something that is not onlyuseful but beautiful. The cockerel we show here, although notfully developed, was very attractive in many ways. He wassound in color; he had a good wing, clear hackle and breast, andbody color that fairly sparkled with lustre.
