Proboscis fully developed ; palpi upturned, the 2nd joint reaching about to vertex of head and moderately scaled, the 3rd ratber long; frons smooth with tuft of hair, a projecting corneous plate below it; eyes large, round ; antennse of male bipectinate with long branches, the apex ciliated ; thorax clothed chiefly with scales and with dorsal ridge-like crest; build rather slender ; mid and hind tibise with tufts of hair at middle and extreuiity ; abdomen without crests, long. Fore wing with the apex rounded, the termen evenly curved and not crenulate ; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell; 6 from upper angle; 9 frora 10 anastomosing with 8 to form the areole; 11 from cell.
