Village of Aldford, England. Picturesque view of a memorial cross within the grounds of the St John the Baptist's Church, in Aldford’s Church Lane. The memorial is inscribed ‘To the honour and glory of God and in pious memory of Hugh Lupus Duke of Westminster’. The mid-19th century Grade II listed St John the Baptist's Church was commissioned by Richard Grosvenor, the 2nd Marquess of Westminster, and was designed by John Douglas.
