People dressed in traditional Lithuanian clothes celebrate the Saint John's Day and Summer solstice in the small town of Kernave, about 40 km from Vilnius. Jonin?s, also known as St. John's Day or Rasos, is a traditional midsummer festival celebrated in Lithuania. It takes place around the summer solstice, typically on the night of June 23-24. The festival is deeply rooted in pagan traditions and is one of the most significant and popular celebrations in Lithuania.
