"Roses" by the artist Will Ryman is seen on a snowy Tuesday, January 25, 2011 installed on the Park Avenue medians in New York. Almost 40 buds are installed on the street from East 57 to East 67 Street, some towering above the traffic and pedestrians passing by, others lower to ground and some with insects crawling on them. The fiberglass and stainless steel sculpture exhibit, organized by the Fund for Park Avenue and NYC Dept. of Parks & Recreation, will remain on display until the end of May. (© Richard B. Levine)
