C. and W. E. Ennis, of Kingston. Work was confinedto prospecting the property for new veins. Trimminff Works The following firms are engaged in trimming and thin-splitting mica in Ottawa:General Electric Company, Laurentide Mica Company, Messrs. Eugene Munsell andCompany, Mr. S. O. Filion, Mr. R. Blackburn, Mr. N. Holland, Wallingford Mining andMica Company; and in Kingston, IMessrs. Kent Mill of the Tonkin^DuPont Graphite Company at Wilberforce Graphite Black Donald The Black Donald Graphite Company, owning and operating the above mine, werethe main producers of graphite in the Province during 1913. The mine and grindingplant are situated about fifteen miles from Calabogie in Renfrew county, the propertycomprising lots 17 to 20 in the first, second and third concessions of Brougham town-ship. The mine is operated during the summer months, when sufficient crude ore is takenout to run the mill during the year. Stoping was continued in the east end of the pit. Electric power for operating the mine and mill machinery is generated at PowerHouse rapids on the Madawaska river. This power plant is owned by the Ontario 1914 Mines of Ontario 179 Graphite Company and operated by the Black Donald Company; 400 horse-power aredeveloped. Tihe officers of the company are: Mr. Geo.
