A PLANT OF EUPHORBIA HETEROPHYLLA. EUPHORBIA HETEROPHYLLA. This rare and beautiful New " Annual Poinsettia," or Mexican Fire Plant, in its brilliantly blazed habit resembles Poinsettia pulcherrima. The plants grow two to three feet high, of decidedly branching, bush-like form, with smooth, glossy, fiddle-shaped leaves. The leaves are at first entirely green, but about midsummer, at the end of each branch appear greenish-white flowers, envel- oped in beautiful orange-scarlet bracts, and the surround- ing leaves are either blotched with vivid carmine or are carmine with green tips. Whether grown as specimen plants or in masses, the effect of this combination of brilliant coloring is very striking. The earlier the plants are started the sooner will they develop their brilliant colors. Per pkt. 10 cts.; 3 pkts. for 25 cts. PER PKT. EUPHORBIA Marginata (Snoiv-on-lhe-Moun- tain).
