(July 22, 2017) Sailors assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) watch the ship's commissioning ceremony from the hangar bay. Ford is the lead ship of the Ford-class aircraft carriers, and the first new aircraft carrier design in 40 years.
