A shashka M 1909 for officers of the Russian dragoons Slightly curved, single-edged blade with fullers on both sides (stained). On the obverse an etched floral cartouche with the Russian double-headed eagle and maker's designation for Zlatoust. Brass knuckle-bow hilt, on the pommel cap the tsar's cypher "N II", on the knuckle-bow Cyrillic maker's mark "Slava Moskva". Grooved wood grip (re-lacquered).
