Nova Delphini, 14th August 2013. Nova Delphini (blue star at centre) was discovered on 14 August 2013. This a star which brightened thousands of times in a matter of hours. Photograph taken remotely using 106 mm telescope at Siding Spring, Australia. The bright blue object at the bottom of the frame is a planetary nebula, NGC 6905.
