Tad Sae waterfall, Luang Prabang

The Tad Sae Waterfall in Luang Prabang is located around 20 kilometers southeast of the town. About an hour by tuk tuk or shared minivan for between $7 and $20 will take you there. There is a 10,000 kip fee ($) to take a round trip boat to the falls from the riverbank; the boat driver will collect the fare on your trip back from the falls. The rainy season is the best time to visit the falls, as the months of December through July, there’s hardly any water.
