The town is locatedon the bank of the Santa Margarita. The vicinity is well adapted for grazing purposes. WARNERS RANCH Is a small town about forty-five miles from Temecula, in an easterly direction. FORT YUMA, at the extreme Southeast corner of the State, is a military post. This isknown as the Picachto mining district. Placer mines exist there to some extent. Mining is theprincipal resource of the settlers. San Diego County, in its entirety, is rich in varied resources, which will find developmentonly in a largely increased population. 454 L. L.
