A very rare Swiss Medieval halberd second half of the 14th century. The head prolonged above the cutting-edge by a right-angled triangular spike with bevelled leading edge, flat back-edge and coming to a strongly reinforced point, the cutting-edge slightly convex, boldly struck with a mark on one side, in a rectangle with rounded ends, a cross, and with the back-edge drawn out over a mandrel to form two rounded sockets, the lower with no provision for a strap: on modern wooded haft. Head 38 cm. Width cm. Overall length 222 cm. For a detailed, Additional-Rights-Clearance-Info-Not-Available
