Bulgaria Elhovo January 6th 2014: Memorial service and laying of wreaths was held for the people that died in a tragic accident in 1996 dozens of defenseless people fell into the icy waters of the river Tunja as they watched the annual Jordan day celebrations, killing nine people including 4 children quick response of soldiers and border guards saved many more people, today Elhovo municipality opened memorial at the site of the tragedy the plaque was blessed by the town priest. © Clifford Norton/Alamy Live News
