Sailors aboard the Arleigh Burke-class Destroyer USS Gridley heave in a fueling line from the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan provided over 5,000 gallons of fuel to Gridley during the two hour fueling at sea evolution. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Operations in the 5th Fleet are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
