Grown largely for pickles. Sow in hot-bed early in April, and transplant to the open ground when the weather is favorable. They .should be planted in warm, mellow soil, in rows eighteen inches apart. Mammotii Golden Queen—This pepper grows twice the size of the Golden Daw u, and of the most perfect size and shape. Each plant ripens from eigiit to tweh e immense, waxen, golden colored peppers of a mild flavor. Like Rul^y King, may he eaten with vinegar, pepper and salt. They ai-e also valuable for stuliing as mangoes. • Placed by Ruby King they make an attractiv e addition to the market gardener's collection. Pkt, 6c; oz., 30c; ilb., 7oc. Kuby King—An exceedingly large and handsome pepper. Color bright, ruby red; grow from five to six inches long by three and one-half 'to four inches in diameter, which makes it one of the largest grown. Flavor very mild—can be sliced and eaten like tomatoes or cticumbers, or be used for mangoes. Pkt., 5c: oz., 30c; Chili—Used in the manufacture of pepper-sauce.
