Having hauled myself into the nest, I packed my eggsand re-ascended. During this time, the old birds, as usual, lay offat a distance, rarely coming into view. This nest was in one of A Fine Situation JU3 three alternative sites, all on the face of the same big- cliff. Thesecond site was in a very similar position some 200 yards east. I HH
