The first presi-dent was R. Bage Kerr, while the com-mittee comprised Jaspar Lynch, A. and Dr. Paul Kimball, togetherwith others still prominent in Lakewoodgolfing circles. All these executives servedfor many years, directing the removal to the second course, double the size of thefirst, the Golf Club having meanwhilebeen merged with the (Jcean County Coun-try Club, organized to promote, besidesgolf, such outdoor sports as trap shooting,hunting and polo.
