None of these species arenew to science, but three of them, Asterias panopla, Gorgonocephalmeucnemis, and Psolus fabrici, have not previously been observed inthe waters to the north and west of Baffin Bay. Asterias panoplahas moreover not been found on the west coast of Greenland, but hashitherto been reported only from the Greenland Sea, the NorwegianSea, the Barents Sea, the Kara Sea, and the Siberian Arctic Ocean,where its eastern limit is at the Taimur Penin
