Howard, of Pasadena, has bought five acres of land north of town and will devote them to roses. He will also build a greenhouse and a residence on the property. Janesville, Wis.—Dr. C. G. Dwight has completed his plans for his three immense greenhouses, which will be built immediately. Thirty thousand square feet of glass will be used in the structures. This glass will be shipped In one car lot and will be one of the largest ship- ments ever received in the city. His heating plant will be double the capaci- ty of the three houses, which will be 27x 261 feet. It will take over 10,000 feet of 1%-inch piping for heating.
