CHILDRENS HOME DAY Already some requests are being re-ceived for information relative to thework being done at the Childrens Hometo be used in the Sunday school serviceson the next Childrens Home Day, May29. It will be remembered that we havenot had a fifth Sunday offering for theChildrens Home in four months, thelast one being the fifth Sunday in Jan-uary, the offering on this day being near-ly $1,000 less than the usual fifth Sundayoffering. We earnestly hope and really. She drank goats milk expect that the May clay offering willnot only be up to the standard, but thatit will make up some of the Januaryloss. Let every Sunday school do itsvery best. The money is urgently needed. WELL AGAIN The Childrens Home family is aboutwell again, but doctor bills, nursesbills, hospital bills and charges for ser-vices of specialists are being receivedand, therefore, vividly reminding us ofthe costliness of sickness. No expensewas spared in our endeavor to properlyminister to the needs of our sick chil-dren. When it is remembered that wehad 32 cases of scarlet fever and 125cases of influenza, these bringing on com-plications, and in two instances death, some idea of the expense involved canbe estimated. We had at one time fivetrained nurses on our pay roll. Letthose who appreciate our situation bejust as liberal as possible as they pay for the good services rendered their fes-ter children.
