Crocodile hunting depicted in the reverse glass painting with gilding dated from the first half of the 18th century on display in the Unterlinden Museum (Musée Unterlinden) in Colmar, Alsace, France. The reverse glass painting was painted by German artist Nikolaus Michael Spengler after the print engraved by Dutch artist Johannes Colaert after the painting by Flemish mannerist painter Jan Van der Straet, also known as Stradanus.
