Description The available specimen consists of one and a third whorls, but is sufficientlywell preserved to illustrate the australiceratid characteristics. Coiling is criocera-titid with the whorls touching, but not impressed. The whorl section is sub-quadrate to rounded in the early stages of growth, but soon becomes triangularwith a flattened dorsum, a steep umbilical wall and gently inflated flanks,converging to a rounded venter. 292 ANNALS OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN MUSEUM.
