The comet Neowise or C/2020 F3 can be seen in the starry sky above Anglesey at about am. Every 5000 to 7000 years the comet comes so close to the earth that it can be seen with the naked eye. Comet C/2020 F3 was discovered March 27, 2020, from some 326 miles (525 km) above Earth's surface by NEOWISE, the Near Earth Object Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, which is a space telescope launched by NASA in 2009.
