A 19th Century view of Holyrood Chapel, founded in 1128 by King David I, plundered in 1322 by Edward II , then Richard II in 1305. Located next to the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, Scotland a storm in 1768 caused the roof to collapse, leaving the abbey as it currently stands.
