Col. Andrew Croft, 49th Wing commander, offers opening remarks during the Prisoner of War and Missing in Action recognition ceremony at the Holloman Air Force Base, , Heritage Park, Sept. 21. Croft spoke about the bravery and heroism that those who were held captive and missing in action displayed and how we must never forget them. The ceremony paid tribute to those individuals who "gave all" and those who were held captive while serving their country. During the event there was a "Roll Call of Honor," which showed respect to the 12 POW/MIAs from New Mexico.
