This little gem grows but a foot high ; of com- pact form, and covered the entire season with little button-like, in- tense scarlet very double flowers not over an inch across; as a border it is highly effective. (See cut.) Oz., 75 cts 4480 Single Alixed. For bedding these are very effective, and are con- sidered more artistic than the double-flowering sorts. Oz., 50 cts. . 4470 Tall Double. The old-fashioned tall-growing variety; 3 feet; mixed colors. Per oz., ."^O cts 5 4165 Tom Thumb Double Mixed. Campact bushes, not over 12 inches high ; all colois. Oz., 75 cts 10 4466 Zebra. A very pretty slrain with striped flowers. As the colors vary on each plant, they present a curious as well as beautiful ap- pearance. Oz., 75 cts 10 The Zinnia is one of the most brilliant and showy of annuals, and has long been a general favorite. The seed can be sown early in the hotbed and transplanted, or sown later in tlie open ground. They come into flower early in the summer, and keep on blooming until hard frost. This we consider the best type for general use, forming bushy, compact plants not over 2 feet high, and bearing perfect double flowers as large as the taller-growing sorts. PER
