A pair of long flintlock pistols, Arnold Niquet, Liège, circa 1730/40. Smooth two-stage barrels, octagonal then round in 15 mm calibre, each with a brass front sight on top. Floral and geometrical engravings on the flintlocks, the lockplates signed "ARNOLD NIQUET A LIEGE". Slightly carved walnut stocks with engraved brass furnitures, the pommel caps each with a mascaron in relief. Original wooden ramrods. Length 50 cm each.
